Force 2G only, 3G only, or 4G only in Windows Phone 8

One reason why I write this is because there is no option in Windows Phone settings. I think much people really needs this because they needs a fast internet connection and stuck at slower connection. That happens because the slower network have stronger signal than the faster one.

This option can be accessed in field test menu, to open field test, you need to call ##3282. After that, open setting (tap the 3 dots … then click setting) and you will find Automatic, 2G only, 3G only, and 4G only (if your device support 4G).

Some people are having problem with field test, it can’t be opened by calling ##3282, I found in internet that you can try another similar code, like #3282, ##3282#, or something.

Note: This method is demoed on Nokia Lumia 620 Windows Phone 8 without Amber Update. Maybe won’t work later, just tell me and other reader in the comment.
